Agent Analytics reads your server logs to show which pages AI crawlers hit, and how often. See real crawl, impression, and traffic data. Now in closed beta.

As a Surfer user, you can already check how LLMs talk about you, based on AI search data.

Now it’s time to take a peek into your server logs and see which pages LLM crawlers actually visited—or omitted.

With Agent Analytics, you’ll know which content earned you mentions, which is invisible to AI, or whether that guide you refreshed in June ever got looked at again. One step closer to ensure your domain is 100% AI-ready.

How does Agent Analytics work?

Agent Analytics reads your server logs to reveal every visit from AI crawlers, assistants, and agents, plus the human traffic AI products send your way. Connect a log source through Cloudflare, and data starts flowing within minutes:

  • Track every visit from GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and other AI agents, split by operator and purpose.
  • See the human visitors that ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI products send to your site.
  • Find your most crawled and cited pages, with geographic, status, and cache breakdowns.
  • Bots whose IPs fall outside their operator's published ranges are flagged as unverified.

Why are we developing Agent Analytics?

Citation starts with retrieval. A model needs to actually hit a page to cite it. This feature closes the loop on AI visibility optimization.

AI Search Analytics tells you where and how you show up in answers. Log data tells you why: if you know which of your pages LLMs come back for and which they ignore, you can recognize your most valuable assets and learn what to restructure.

One more note: we’re improving AI Search Analytics’ performance alongside the new features, so all your visibility data keeps getting sharper.

How to get Agent Analytics?

We’re still actively working on the tool, so it’s in closed beta. Email Jakub at jakub.sadowski@surferseo.com if you want to try it out. We will set it up manually for you—and wait for your feedback. Tell us what works, what doesn’t, and what you wish was added, and we’ll make sure to fix all the shortcomings.

Agent Analytics works with Cloudflare Logpush for now. More sources are on the way. If you need another method, let Jakub know!
