Publishing long posts with tons of images just got way smoother.
The Surfer–WordPress integration now supports async image loading, so even image-heavy content exports cleanly—without delays, timeouts, or broken uploads. Images load in the background, three at a time, while your post goes live without a hitch.
Async = less stress, faster exports.
Exporting long-form content with lots of images? We’ve got your back.
The Surfer WordPress integration now supports async image loading. That means even if your post has a dozen+ images, the export won’t break or slow to a crawl. Instead, images load smoothly in the background—three at a time—while your content publishes without a hitch.
This fix is especially handy for users on slower servers or those who go all-in on visuals. And if you prefer, you can still force async (or sync) manually in the config.
Tips to try:
- Export a post with 10+ images to see async in action
- Use async mode for any large post to speed up processing
- Keep your config settings default unless you have a reason to override them
- Enjoy the smoother export—no more timeout errors or partial posts
