Save and apply custom outline templates in Content Editor. Make sure every article follows your best-performing format—without starting from scratch.
Great content starts with a solid structure—but building that structure over and over? Total time-waster.
That’s why we added Outline Templates in Content Editor. Now you can save your best-performing articles as Outline Templates and apply them instantly to any new article. Whether it’s blog posts, landing pages, comparisons, newsletters, or even YouTube scripts—you’ll start fast and stay consistent.
You can find Outline Templates in the new Outline tab, under the Insert Outline.
Please note, that the Insert Outline and Outline Templates are two different features; Insert Outline feature will generate an outline based on the top ranking SERPs, while Outline Templates will follow a template specified by you.
Practical tips to try:
- Use real, high-performing, human-made content examples as templates—not style rules.
- Save templates for different content types: blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, social scripts, and more.
- Apply templates at the start of any new draft to speed up writing and editing.
- Avoid generic AI-generated content when creating templates—base them on what’s actually worked for your audience.
