Anyone can take the course: writers, SEOs, aspiring SEO writers, CMOs, or content managers! We’ve designed the structure for two general segments that include many different fields: 

  1. CMOs and marketing team leaders who want to understand SEO as a growth strategy and empower their teams to succeed. You don’t need to understand all the technical components of SEO, just enough to know why it matters and how to communicate its value as well as organize your team to deliver. We’ve done our best to make Module 1 your go-to resource. If you watch nothing else, make sure you tune into the first part! Then, feel free to pass it on to your team if you’d like for modules 2, 3, and 4.
  2. Writers and specialists eager to enhance their SEO skills and take content performance to the next level; you’re in the right place. Why? You’ll use this course to become an indispensable asset to your team, company, or clients. If you’ve looked at the market lately, writing good content isn’t enough. Writers are now expected to know, understand, and implement SEO best practices. We want to help!

Do I have to watch all the lessons in order?

Nope! You are free to watch whichever lesson you want in whatever order. Keep in mind, however, that to finish the course and receive an official certification, you’ll have to pass the final exam.

How do I obtain the course certification?

All you need to do is take the final exam at the end of this course.

How long is the final exam?

The exam part should take no more than 30 minutes, although we recommend working at your own pace.

How many points do I need to get to pass the final exam?

To pass the exam, you’d need to answer at least 17 out of 20 questions correctly (85% correct answers). 

Do I have to watch the Content Optimization Masterclass to take the final exam?

Nope! If the practical knowledge we share in the lessons is already familiar to you and you would rather skip the course, you can go straight for the exam! Keep in mind, however, that you’ll need to get at least 17 out of 20 to pass, and you can only take the exam once in 24 hours. 

What happens after I pass?

You can add “Content Optimization Expert” to your CV or LinkedIn profile, download the certificate with your name on it, and of course, brag to all your friends!

When will I get my certificate?

We’ll verify your responses as quickly as possible—typically within one working week. However, if you submit your application during our launch week (Feb 10–16), please allow up to two weeks for processing due to high demand. Thanks for your patience!
